For the second and subsequent years, the payment will be 17 % of the license price.
If you pay for two years of maintenance and support, you will pay 16% per year.

If you decide not to pay from the second year onwards; is not recommended, you will not have the benefits of any maintenance, update or support with respect to your license.
How many servers can I install a license on?
The RDPLUS license is for one server only.
If you need to use this software on multiple servers, you will have the opportunity to select the number of licenses by ordering them.
Note: In this case, most of our customers select the Enterprise Edition or Enterprise Edition PLUS, which includes Farm Manager and Gateway features to easily access and manage your server farm.
Should I choose an edition or a Bundle?
As you need it.
Therefore, we recommend that you tell us what your requirements are so that you have the most optimal solution and that it does not cost you more.
I already purchased a license, how can I upgrade/renew?
If you have already purchased a license, you can upgrade/renew it by contacting us.
Is licensing legal?
Yes. Regarding Microsoft EULAs and CALs, RD PLUS is an alternative to Microsoft RDS.
If you use Microsoft RDS, you must purchase and install the RDS CALs. Therefore, if you are not using Microsoft RDS, you do not need to purchase RDS CALs from Microsoft.
When you use VNC, Apache web server, LogMeIn, Teamviewer to directly or indirectly access a Windows system and interact with the graphical user interface, you do it without the need to purchase CALS from TS, right?
As a user, you are not required to use Windows technologies to perform these functions if you choose to use RD PLUS as your remote access solution. You will not need Microsoft RDS or TS CALS, just the RD PLUS CALs/Licenses.
What is accessed is the services/sessions created by the RD PLUS application.
Yes. As long as you have your annual maintenance and support payment covered. If not, contact us to send you the cost of your migration, update and support.
I need to connect my users by Remote Desktop. Can RDPlus work as a substitute for Microsoft's RD License?
Yes. RDPlus is a program that allows users to connect via remote desktop, but it also allows many more things that go beyond the functions of Microsoft's RD Licenses (formerly Terminal Server).
Is it advisable to make external connections for my users to my network via Remote Desktop?
It is not recommended to use Remote Desktop externally to our network since it carries the following risks:
- Null security when using RDP connection when connecting users through this protocol.
- Risk of server infections by keeping port 3389 open.
- Possible risk of Malware, Virus or hijacking of our server by keeping the port open.
- Slow connections since the protocol can consume a lot of bandwidth by not using specialized data compression software.
- RDP Service Saturation. Sometimes if an attacker finds that our port 3389 is available, he will try to saturate it by making multiple requests to our server making the remote desktop service of our server unusable.
Can RDPlus overcome the disadvantages of using Remote Desktop outside of my network?
Yes, since RDPlus uses a connection based on SSL/TLS certificates that maintains security between the user and the server, in addition to using another port and not 3389, allowing security to always be present.
The advantages of RDPlus over Remote Desktop are the following:
- It does not use port 3389, which allows for better security and performance.
- It uses SSL/TLS Security Certificates so connections are always shielded.
- You can import certificates from recognized entities such as Godaddy, Google, Symantec etc, to be used in our system.
- Maintains up to 40%+ data compression compared to Remote Desktop.
- You can change both the RDPlus connection secure port (443) and the port used for Remote Desktops (3389).
- It uses web services based on Tomcat, giving the system extra security.
- It has an additional module that makes it possible to shield the connections much better and has an anti-DDos attack system.
- It has another additional module for brute force attacks.
- IP protection
With RDPlus can I connect my users using only the application they need?
Yes, RDPlus allows users to share only the applications that you want them to see. With this your server will use much less hardware on your server which will increase the productivity of your systems.
Can RDPlus publish my applications by browser?
RDPlus can publish at the same time for two types of connections:
- Client
- Web page client
Client: When using the RDPlus client, published applications can start up appearing to be installed on the client machine, making it easier to deliver applications from your servers especially to less computer-savvy users.
Web Page Client: Access by web page has great advantages since it allows us to connect to our applications through any browser, allowing us to access our applications from any operating system such as Windows, Linux, Mac, Iphone, Android, etc.
Either of the two connections has advantages over the other and this means that no matter what connection needs you have, RDPlus allows always-available access.
Closed Ports: My Company has an Internet service that does not allow ports to be opened. With RDPlus, can my users have access to my server, even if my ports are closed?
Yes, with RDPlus we can get your users to connect to your server without having to open their ports, and users can access from anywhere in the world, even from computers that have not been used before.
At RDPlus we have a service where your application server with RDPlus is added to a network where it can be channeled from outside and be able to provide services to your users without problems.
Can RDPlus share applications from several of my servers at the same time?
The RDPlus system can make server farms, being able to share server desktops and applications to users where they can enter a single portal and this will be in charge of being able to access the applications or desktops assigned to the user.
My Application servers need a load balancer, does RDPlus have this service?
RDPlus has a simple load balancing system with which, depending on how you want to do it, we can give users the applications they need, but without tiring the servers with less power and taking advantage of the servers with better performance.
I'm having trouble printing on my remote desktop server, does RDPlus have a solution for this?
In most companies, printing is an essential service, so it is not uncommon to see remote printing always be a problem. RDPlus has two new printing services so it doesn't matter what type of printer your users have, the printing system will adjust to your needs, preventing the remote printing service from crashing and not letting your users print.
By giving my users a complete desktop to my server, there is a fear that my users may delete files or upload viruses to my system. Does RDPlus have a system that can avoid these inconveniences?
When we share a full server desktop with users, there is always the fear that they could put the server at risk and delay the company's services. For this reason, RDPlus has security options to prevent users from uploading or downloading files infected with viruses, malware or ransomware, and also prevents users from accessing your server.
Open files from your server using the user's local application.
One of the requests to RDPlus when creating its system is that sometimes we want to modify a file, such as a Word file, however, on the Server it does not have the Office program or license to be able to open the file. That is why RDPlus allows a file that is on the server to be opened with the local application that we have, allowing us to save server resources and space, modifying it with our local tools.
